Benefits of the Scholarship: Alvernia University will grant a $15,000 annual scholarship to students in the United States.

Criteria for Eligibility:
These merit scholarships are renewable for four years (up to eight semesters) and are worth the same amount each time.
Scholarships cannot be paired with any other award, including government scholarships, thus an applicant who is already receiving another financial reward cannot apply for an Alvernia International Scholarship.
Additional requirements:
Be a full-time, degree-seeking undergraduate student who takes classes largely during the day.
By the May 1 scholarship application deadline, you must have a least 3.0 overall cumulative GPA.
Meet the English language requirements as well as the financial requirements.
Procedure for submitting an application:
Before the May 1 application deadline, submit the following documents to Alvernia’s International Admissions:
Application for an international scholarship. Once you’ve been accepted to Alvernia University, email [email protected] for the application.
Proposed research statement This should be a separate document in which the student candidate explains why Alvernia University should award them a scholarship and how their academic and personal aspirations would benefit our campus community (in 300 words or fewer).
Unofficial Report Card. All grades from prior schools must be submitted by the student.
A single letter of recommendation is required. Before the deadline, this letter must be included in the scholarship application folder.
