STIPENDS AND GRANTS
Norwegian state universities and colleges do not charge tuition, although there are very few grants available to students. There are, however, some scholarships that are intended for particular student populations.
In terms of exchange, Norwegian universities have a number of bilateral agreements with international higher education institutions. These agreements are typically created to facilitate the exchange of professors, researchers, and students.
However, certain national initiatives also provide financing for overseas students to study in Norway in the form of scholarships and other forms of financial aid. For each of these programs, there are requirements and restrictions. There are also several scholarships offered by for-profit and nonprofit organizations. The following list is not all-inclusive.
